DENVER – MSU Denver coach
Tanya Haave has announced that guard Nevaeh Millard of Denver South has signed a national letter of intent and will join the program for the 2024-25 season.
"We are proud to announce that Nevaeh Millard has signed to become a MSU Denver Roadrunner," Haave said. "Nevaeh is a skilled guard with tremendous instincts and basketball knowledge that will add depth to our guard rotation. A product of Denver South High School, she is a perfect fit for not only our basketball program, but also for the university. We are extremely excited to welcome her to our women's basketball family."
The 5-foot-6 Millard earned Class 6A all-state honorable mention recognition last season as a junior, after averaging 18.5 points per game and helping the Ravens to a 16-8 record. She averaged 18.2 points as a sophomore and 14.4 points as a freshman.
As a junior, in addition to averaging 18.5 points, she also averaged 4.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 3.0 steals.
In three seasons she has averaged 17.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 3.9 steals per game, with 62-game totals of 1,076 points, 274 rebounds, 127 assists and 239 steals. She also has 29 blocked shots. She's a career 34.5 percent shooter from 3-point range (76 of 220), and overall has shot 49.7 percent from the field (416 of 837).
The Ravens have gone 45-19 the past three seasons.
Millard has also competed in soccer and track & field for the Ravens.
