COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – MSU Denver right-hander Andrew Hayes has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's Pitcher of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.
 
Hayes turned in another strong outing to improve to 2-0, allowing two runs on five hits in five innings, with one walk and five strikeouts, in a victory over Biola (Calif.) on Friday.
 
After two appearances this season, Hayes is the RMAC leader in wins and strikeouts (11) and ranks fifth with an opponent batting average of .200.
 
MSU Denver has had both RMAC Pitchers of the Week this season, as Reichle Arcilise won the award last week.
