@RoadrunnerSB: MSU Denver Welcomes Black Hills State for Series

Games to be played at the Assembly Athletic Complex on Saturday, Sunday

DENVER – The MSU Denver softball team is back at home again this weekend.

The Roadrunners' four-game series against Black Hills State has been moved to the Assembly Athletic Complex due to unplayable field conditions in South Dakota. Doubleheaders are scheduled for noon Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.

MSU Denver is 19-8 overall and 15-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. Black Hills State is 4-12, with all of its games coming in RMAC play.

The Yellow Jackets have shown the ability to rise up for interesting wins – they beat league power Colorado Mesa the game after losing to the Mavericks 22-1, and they won just one of three against Adams State, but it was by 17-3.

The Roadrunners are hoping for no surprises against a Black Hills State team that claimed one win in the teams' four-game series last year. MSU Denver is 26-4 all-time against the Yellow Jackets.
