GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Jocelyn Korbe on Sunday added personal bests in the javelin and the 800 meters to the personal bests she set Saturday in the high jump and shot put and led MSU Denver's first-ever efforts in the women's heptathlon at the Maverick Multi & Invitational.
 
Korbe finished sixth in the event with 4,120 points, while teammate Jade Marvel joined Korbe in the competition and finished seventh with 3,777 points.
 
Korbe led all heptathlon competitors in the javelin with a distance of 34.61 meters (113 feet, 6 inches) and turned in her best 800 time of 2 minutes, 48.20 seconds to cap the grueling two-day, seven-event competition.
