COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference women's basketball coaches have picked MSU Denver to finish seventh in the league's annual preseason poll.
MSU Denver is coming off a rebuilding season in which it finished strong while compiling a 9-18 overall record, including 8-14 for 10
th place in the RMAC.
The Roadrunners have four returning starters, led by All-RMAC first team guard
Mikylah Espinosa, who averaged 15.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.9 steals per game last year as a sophomore.
MSU Denver opens the season with home games Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. against Angelo State (Texas) and Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. against Texas Woman's.
The Roadrunners begin RMAC play Dec. 5 at Fort Lewis.
