LOUISVILLE, Ky. – For the first time since 2021, the MSU Denver softball team is receiving votes in the NFCA Division II Top 25 coaches poll.
The Roadrunners, 29-7 overall and 22-2 for first place in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, picked up three poll points and are 30
th among teams receiving votes.
MSU Denver last received votes in the 2021 preseason poll, when it was tied for 28
th among teams receiving votes. The Roadrunners were 29
th in the final poll of the 2020 season that ended early due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
MSU Denver, which earlier this season put together a school-record 21-game winning streak, has won 25 of its last 27 games.
The Roadrunners hit the road this week for doubleheaders Thursday and Friday at Adams State, beginning at noon and 11 a.m., respectively.
