INDIANAPOLIS – The Roadrunners men's basketball team ranks second in the South Central Region of this week's D2CSC Division II Media Poll. 
 
The regional poll is released every Monday, followed by the national poll every Tuesday. Each region has six representatives (two per conference) that comprise the regional poll. The national poll has 16 voters, two from each region. 
 
The Roadrunners are coming off a 2-0 weekend where they defeated South Dakota Mines and Black Hills State on the road.  
 
Dallas Baptist, who was the previous top team in the region, fell to St. Mary's this past weekend and dropped to third. The Colorado School of Mines, who was previously No. 2, moved into the top spot of after defeating Chadron State and South Dakota Mines on the road. Both the Orediggers and the Roadrunners are 12-2 on the season. 
 
Head coach Dan Ficke and his squad will play in their first home games of 2025 and will host Colorado Christian on Thursday night and then UC-Colorado Springs on Saturday afternoon.
