DENVER – Fresh off one of the program's most successful seasons in over a decade, the MSU Denver men's soccer team has announced its 2026 schedule as the Roadrunners look to build on last year's historic accomplishments under reigning RMAC Coach of the Year Nick Kirchhof.

After capturing a share of the RMAC regular-season championship—the program's highest conference finish since 2012—and earning its first RMAC Tournament victory since 2017, MSU Denver enters the new campaign with momentum and championship aspirations once again.

The Roadrunners will tune up for the regular season with a pair of exhibition matches, opening at Air Force on Aug. 15 before hosting Laramie County Community College on Aug. 19. MSU Denver then welcomes Colorado College for its final preseason test on Aug. 23.

The regular season officially begins Aug. 27 when the Roadrunners travel to Western Oregon before continuing their Northwest road swing against Northwest Nazarene on Aug. 29.

MSU Denver returns home Sept. 4 to host Lubbock Christian before welcoming Midwestern State two days later, giving the Roadrunners an early opportunity to measure themselves against two perennial regional contenders.

Following a trip to Hawai'i Hilo on Sept. 14, the Roadrunners open RMAC play at home Sept. 17 against UCCS before hosting Westminster on Sept. 20.

Conference action continues with a road match at Adams State on Sept. 25 before MSU Denver welcomes Fort Lewis to Denver on Sept. 27 in another key early RMAC matchup.

October features several pivotal conference contests as the Roadrunners travel to Colorado School of Mines on Oct. 1 and South Dakota Mines on Oct. 3 before closing the road trip at Regis on Oct. 11.

The final home stretch begins Oct. 16 against CSU Pueblo and Oct. 18 versus UCCS before MSU Denver travels to Westminster on Oct. 23. The Roadrunners then host defending RMAC power Colorado Mesa on Oct. 25 before wrapping up the regular season at Colorado Christian on Oct. 28.

The RMAC Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 1-7, with the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship beginning Nov. 13 and continuing through Dec. 6.

Kirchhof, who earned RMAC Coach of the Year honors after guiding the Roadrunners to a breakthrough 2025 season, will look to lead MSU Denver back into conference title contention in what is once again expected to be one of the nation's most competitive Division II leagues.

With a demanding non-conference slate and another challenging RMAC schedule ahead, the Roadrunners will look to carry the confidence gained from last season's championship run into another memorable fall while pursuing both conference and national postseason success.
