@MSUDenverXCTF: Roadrunners Positioned for 2025–26 Season as RMAC Releases Indoor Track & Field Preseason Polls

DENVER — The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its 2025–26 Indoor Track & Field Preseason Coaches' Polls on Thursday morning, setting the stage for another competitive season across one of the strongest track & field leagues in Division II.

MSU Denver's men's and women's programs both secured mid-table positions entering the winter season, while multiple top returners across the RMAC were recognized as Preseason All-RMAC selections. The Roadrunners officially open their indoor season Friday at the Mines Holiday Invite in Golden.

MSU Denver's women's team was voted eighth, earning 99 points in a poll headlined by defending champion Colorado School of Mines, which claimed five first-place votes and 188 total points. UCCS (184) and Adams State (154) rounded out the top three.

The RMAC once again projects to be one of the nation's deepest women's indoor conferences, highlighted by multiple national-caliber returners.

MSU Denver returns a core group of developing sprinters, middle-distance runners, and jumpers as it looks to climb the RMAC standings this winter.

The men's program was picked seventh with 76 points, landing just behind Western Colorado (97) and Colorado Mesa (100). Colorado School of Mines (138) and UCCS (136) were separated by just two points for the top spot in the men's poll.

MSU Denver was represented on the Preseason All-RMAC list by junior sprinter Kenny Greene, who earned selection as the league's top returning performer in the 200 meters.

Greene, one of the most explosive athletes in the conference, is coming off a breakout season and returns as a key piece of the Roadrunners' sprint unit. His inclusion on the preseason list places him among the RMAC's elite and sets the tone for MSU Denver's men's squad as they open the indoor season this weekend.

Both MSU Denver squads now turn their attention to competition as they begin the indoor season on Friday at the Mines Holiday Invite in Golden.

The meet marks the first of several key early-season tune-ups as the Roadrunners work toward the RMAC Indoor Championships in February.
