PUEBLO, Colo. — The MSU Denver Roadrunners outdoor track and field program competed in the Dan Caprioglio Invitational Friday afternoon hosted by CSU Pueblo.
The Roadrunners were led by Brandon Simpson, Lushous Davis and Josiah Billington. Davis captured a top-10 finish and Simpson recording a PR. Billington took home the top finish in the men's triple jump, with a 14.40 meter jump.
Davis placed ninth in the women's hammer, throwing 46.84 meters. Simpson had a personal-best 44.91 meter throw during the men's hammer event, finishing 17th overall.
Senior Perry Guidry placed fourth in the triple jump with a 3.88 meter jump.
MSU Denver will close out the Dan Caprioglio Invitational tomorrow afternoon with field and running events taking place.
