Box Score DENVER – The MSU Denver Roadrunners opened up RMAC conference play Saturday afternoon with a 14-7 win over the Regis Rangers, extending their winning streak to five games.
The Red and Blue move to 8-8 overall on the year and 1-0 in RMAC play. Regis falls to 10-9 overall and 0-1 in conference play.
Andrew Graham led the Roadrunner offense, going 3-for-3 with five RBIs, two runs, and a stolen base. Graham had a two-RBI single in the fourth inning, extending MSU Denver's lead, 8-4. He blasted a two-run homer in the home half of the sixth, giving his team a 12-7 advantage over Regis.
Cam Yuran hit his sixth homerun of the year, while going 2-for-2 with four runs and three walks. His homer gifted the Roadrunners their first lead of the game in the first frame, going up 3-2.
Senior first baseman, Easton Amundson, recorded another big fly on Saturday and has now sent one over the fences in the last four games. He extends his team-lead with eight on the season.
Michael Banderas earned his first win of the season, throwing two innings of relief for starter Nolan Livsey. Carter Swan and Kobe Krenz combined for a scoreless three innings on the bump for the Roadrunners, completing the win.
