GOLDEN, Colo. -- The MSU Denver Roadrunners outdoor track and field programs in the Mines Pre-Conference Meet Thursday afternoon, just one week before the RMAC Conference Championships.
It was a very successful day for the Roadrunners, with
Isaiah Williams setting the high jump school record for the second week in a row, this time with a 2.06 meter jump. Overall, MSU Denver compiled nine top-3 finishes among the men and women.
Sean Pecenka and
Naleia Sowell brought home the two Roadrunner wins on the afternoon. Pecenka won the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.37. Sowell won the 400 meter event with a time of 55.96.
Kenny Greene (100 meter, 10.88) and
Paige Tack (5k, 18:16.98) both had great days on the track, each placing second in their events.
In her three events she competed in,
Lushous Davis finished 2nd (women's hammer, 47.62m), 3rd (women's discus, 40.05m), and 4th (women's shot put, 12.50m).
