Box Score TYLER, Texas — The MSU Denver Roadrunners lost a close contest to Oklahoma Christian Friday afternoon by a score of 4-1 in the NCAA Regionals, and their 2025 season comes to a close.
The Roadrunners end their impressive campaign at a 41-17 overall record, going 34-9 in RMAC conference play.
It was a classic pitcher's duel in this one between MSU Denver's Natalie Romero and Oklahoma Christian's Grace Anderson.
Romero was credited with the loss despite going seven innings, allowing just one earned run on six hits.
There was not a single run scored until the bottom half of the fourth when the Roadrunners Brooklyn Enny pinch hit for Lexi Gephart, and laced a single to score the only MSU Denver run of the game.
Oklahoma Christian rallied for two runs in the sixth after a costly error by the Roadrunners which made them both unearned runs for Romero. They scored another two runs in the seventh, with one of them coming at the hands of another MSUD error.
Adriana Bueno the only multi-hit performance for MSU Denver, going 2-for-3 with a double. Katie Maney, Aaliyah Arellano, and Enny recorded the other three hits for the Roadrunners.
