DENVER -- The MSU Denver Roadrunners men's and women's soccer teams announced their 2025 fall schedules Thursday afternoon. Both teams will open the regular season at home on Thursday, September 4.

This will be the first season at the helm of the women's team for head coach Katie Hooker. She joined the Roadrunners staff back at the end of March and brings almost two decades of coaching experience, most recently at the University of Denver. Hooker will look to continue MSU Denver's recent success after the team earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament last season. 

Nick Kirchhof will enter his fifth season as the head coach of the men's soccer program, and most recently ended the 2024 season with 7-8-4 record, going 4-4-2 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play.

WOMEN'S SOCCER
The first four matches to kick off the season will all be played at the Assembly Athletic Complex. They will take on Western Washington (Sept. 4), Western Oregon (Sept. 7), Seattle Pacific (Sept. 11), and Angelo State (Sept. 13). The Roadrunners will then hit the road for two non-conference games before starting conference play on September 26 against Westminster in Salt Lake City. The first RMAC match to be played at home will take place on October 3 against New Mexico Highlands. In total, MSU Denver will play 10 games at home throughout the regular season and eight games away from Denver. 

MEN'S SOCCER
The men's team will play six consecutive matches at home to start the season, starting with Northwest Nazarene on September 4, at 6 p.m. MT. They will then play Fort Hays State (Sept. 7), Dominican (Calif.) (Sept. 11), St. Edward's (Sept. 14), Cal Poly Pomona (Sept. 19), and Cal State Los Angeles (Sept. 21). They will then head on the road and begin RMAC play for four matches in a row, but won't leave the state. Kirchhof and his squad will play Colorado School of Mines (Sept. 25), Colorado Christian (Sept. 28), Adams State (Oct. 3), and Fort Lewis (Oct. 5). In total, MSU Denver will play 11 games at home throughout the regular season and seven games away from Denver.
