Among the returning All-RMAC selections are Erubiel Ortiz (First Team), Gavin Schmeh (Second Team) and Nolan Livsey (Second Team). Ortiz also enters the season with national recognition after being named to the NCBWA Preseason All-South Central Region Team, while the Roadrunners were picked eighth in the region's preseason poll.

Coach Annie Van Wetzinga's squad is coming off another strong year, finishing 41-17 with an NCAA Tournament appearance. MSU Denver was picked third in the RMAC preseason coaches poll, led by junior pitcher Natalie Romero, a 2026 Preseason All-RMAC selection after earning All-RMAC Second Team honors last season.
