DENVER -- Due to incoming weather expected later this week, the MSU Denver Roadrunners softball program has announced schedule changes to its upcoming conference opener against Fort Lewis Skyhawks.
Originally slated for Friday and Saturday, the four-game series will now be played entirely over the weekend at the Assembly Athletic Complex. The Roadrunners and Skyhawks will compete in a doubleheader on Saturday at Noon and 2 p.m., followed by another doubleheader Sunday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The adjustment comes as weather is expected to move into the Denver area Thursday and Friday, prompting the shift to ensure optimal playing conditions.
This weekend marks the first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference series of the 2026 season for MSU Denver. The Roadrunners enter conference play with momentum and will look to carry that energy into their home-opening RMAC set against Fort Lewis.
