DENVER — MSU Denver Athletics heads into a busy and pivotal weekend, with baseball, softball, and women's golf all in action as the postseason picture begins to take shape.

The Roadrunners baseball team returns home to close out the regular season with a four-game series against Colorado Mesa on Friday and Saturday. Due to schedule adjustments, MSU Denver will host doubleheaders both days, with games set for 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday, followed by Noon and 3 p.m. first pitches on Saturday.
MSU Denver enters the weekend at 35-11 overall and 23-5 in RMAC play after taking a series over UCCS. With just one win needed to clinch the No. 2 seed in next week's RMAC Tournament in Grand Junction, the Roadrunners will look to capitalize on their home field advantage in the final home events of the 2025-26 season. Junior infielder Marques Abulhosn headlines the offense after earning RMAC Player of the Week honors, highlighted by an 8-for-16 weekend with four home runs, including a three-homer performance in the series opener.

Softball will wrap up its regular season on the road with a four-game set against UCCS, also scheduled for Friday and Saturday. The Roadrunners carry a 33-17 overall record and are 26-14 in RMAC play after securing a series win over New Mexico Highlands in their final home stand.
With a one-game lead over UCCS for the No. 3 seed in the conference standings, the weekend series carries major postseason implications as both teams battle for positioning heading into the RMAC Tournament.
WOMEN'S GOLF
NCAA West Regional @ CSU Pueblo, May 4-6.
On the links, MSU Denver women's golf will be represented at the NCAA West Regional in Pueblo, where Neige Dunn will compete as an individual from May 4-6. Dunn becomes the program's first individual regional qualifier in a decade, earning one of six at-large selections following a record-breaking season.
She posted a 75.5 stroke average—the lowest single-season mark in program history—and capped her year with a strong performance at the RMAC Championships.
With postseason stakes across the board, it shapes up to be a defining weekend for MSU Denver Athletics.
