DENVER — MSU Denver Athletics continued to excel in the classroom as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its Indoor Track & Field All-Academic teams Thursday afternoon.
The Roadrunners were well represented across the conference honors, highlighted by two selections to the First Team All-Academic squad and a combined 18 student-athletes named to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll.
Leading the way for MSU Denver were Kenny Greene and Darren Hayden, who were both named First Team All-Academic on the men's side.
Greene, a junior majoring in Criminal Justice and Criminology, holds a 3.65 GPA while continuing to shine as one of the top sprinters in the RMAC. Greene earned MSU Denver's first ever Track Athlete of the Meet honor at the RMAC Indoor Championships. Hayden, a junior majoring in Music, boasts a perfect 4.0 GPA and has been a key contributor in MSU Denver's distance events.
The first team All-Academic honor recognizes student-athletes for their combined success in competition and in the classroom and is voted on by the league's sports information directors. Student-Athletes must carry a minimum 3.50 GPA in order to qualify for first team All-Academic honors.

In total, MSU Denver placed 18 student-athletes on the RMAC's academic teams, showcasing the program's strong balance between athletic performance and academic achievement.
