GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – MSU Denver Baseball is set to open postseason play this week as the Roadrunners head to the 2026 RMAC Tournament, hosted by Colorado Mesa.
Earning the No. 2 seed after a strong regular season, MSU Denver will begin its tournament run on Wednesday at 11 a.m. against No. 5 seed Colorado School of Mines in the opening round.
The Roadrunners enter the tournament with a 36-14 overall record and a 24-8 mark in RMAC play, positioning themselves as one of the top contenders in the field. Awaiting them is a familiar opponent in Colorado School of Mines, a team MSU Denver swept earlier this season on the road.
The matchup is part of a loaded opening day in Grand Junction, with the double-elimination tournament featuring six teams battling for the conference title over four days.
With momentum from a successful regular season and prior success against Mines, the Roadrunners will look to carry that confidence into Wednesday's matchup as they begin their pursuit of an RMAC championship.
