Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver baseball team will play four Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference games against New Mexico Highlands April 8-10 in Las Vegas, N.M.
The Roadrunners are coming off a series win against rival Regis, taking three out of four games. Junior
Ryan Baca (Loveland, Colo./Loveland H.S.) earned the RMAC pitcher of the week award for his performance on Saturday, April 2 when he struck out a career-high 11 batters in the complete game shutout win. MSU Denver is now 12-14 overall and 8-8 in the RMAC. They will look to make up more ground in the conference against a Highlands team that is 5-28 overall and 2-18 in RMAC play.
The series against New Mexico Highlands will begin on Friday, April 8 at 3 p.m. The two teams will play a doubleheader starting at 12 noon on Saturday, April 9 and conclude the series on Sunday, April 10 with a game at noon.
