GOLDEN, Colo. – MSU Denver has dropped one spot to eighth in this week's final NCBWA South Central Region poll of the season.
The Roadrunners (31-19 overall, 20-12 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) won three of four last weekend against Colorado Christian to wind up tied for second in the league's regular season.
MSU Denver is the third seed for this week's double-elimination RMAC Tournament, and faces fourth-seeded CSU-Pueblo in a 3 p.m. first round game Wednesday in Grand Junction, Colo.
The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association poll isn't connected with the official NCAA regional rankings which are compiled and released on Wednesday.
