GOLDEN, Colo. – The 19th-ranked (Collegiate Baseball) MSU Denver baseball team, which was also ranked No. 25 in last week's NCBWA national poll, has maintained its No. 5 ranking in this week's NCBWA South Central Region poll.

The next NCBWA national poll will be announced Wednesday.

The NCBWA region poll isn't connected with the official NCAA regional rankings that are used to determine at-large qualifiers for the NCAA Tournament.

MSU Denver is 40-10 overall and 25-7 for second place in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The Roadrunners play fifth-seeded CSU Pueblo in the first round of the double-elimination RMAC Tournament on Wednesday in Grand Junction, Colo.
