GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Isabel Botero and Sydney Eye both shot 5-over-par 77s on Friday to lead MSU Denver in the opening round of the RJGA Palm Valley Classic.
 
As a team the Roadrunners are tied for 18^th in a 20-team field after compiling a four-player total of 27-over 315.
 
Botero and Eye are tied for 47th individually.

Neige Dunn finished the day 8-over, and Mackenzie Carpenter was 9-over.
 
The tournament at the Palm Valley Golf Club concludes Saturday.
