Kryssa Moerman both made the All-Tournament team at the Colorado Premier Challenge, and both have been named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Players of the Week.
Anderson is the RMAC's Offensive Player of the Week, while Moerman has been named the league's Defensive Player of the Week.
Anderson, a two-time AVCA All-American (third team 2022, second team 2023), became the program's 17th player to surpass 1,000 career kills while averaging 3.7 kills per set on 59 kills as the Roadrunners beat No. 5 and nine-time national champion Concordia-St. Paul (Minn.), No. 17 Central Missouri and Dallas Baptist (receiving votes) while losing only to underrated No. 13 Chaminade (Hawaii) to finish third. Anderson hit an excellent .301 for the tournament against high-level competition and she also added 14 blocks and three service aces. Anderson had 11 kills and three blocks in a sweep of Dallas Baptist, 17 kills on .382 hitting with five blocks against Central Missouri, 13 kills and two blocks against Chaminade, and wrapped it up with 18 kills on .328 hitting and four blocks against Concordia. She now has 1,021 career kills to rank 16th in program history and 43rd among active Division II players.
Meanwhile Moerman led all RMAC players, as well as all Premier players, with 27 total blocks and an average of 1.69 blocks per set. She had a career-high nine blocks (one solo) to go with seven kills against Dallas Baptist, followed up with seven blocks and seven kills on .412 hitting against Central Missouri, added five blocks (one solo) and a career-best nine kills against Chaminade in the semifinals, and had six blocks and six kills against Concordia-St. Paul. For the season, Moerman leads the RMAC and ranks 10th in Division II with 1.46 blocks per set. Despite the high level of competition, Moerman helped MSU Denver lead the Premier and the RMAC in blocks at 3.28 per set (no other RMAC team averaged more than 2.31) and rank first at the Premier and third in the RMAC in opponent hitting percentage at .163. For the season, the Roadrunners are second in Division II in blocks per set (3.02).
Anderson has now been named the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week three times in her career, while Moerman earned her first career player of the week honor.
