BOULDER, Colo – After breaking the school record in the 400 meters last week in Boulder, Kenny Greene broke the Roadrunner record in the 200 meters this week to lead the men's and women's track and field team at the Colorado Classic.
Greene crossed the line in a time of 21.54 seconds, which broke Jon Clarke's record of 21.70. Clarke set that mark almost 10 years ago in Alamosa, Colorado. The sophomore finished second in the race behind a runner from Air Force who broke the tape at 21.30.
Greene also competed in the 60-meter dash and finished sixth overall and did so in a time of 6.95 seconds.
Owen Clark ran in the men's 400-meter dash and ran the fifth fastest time in program history finishing the race in 49.36 seconds. Clarke's previous best 400 meter time was 49.84 seconds, which he set in Pittsburg, Kansas last year.
The women's 4x400 meter relay team crossed the line in a time of 4:07.08, which was good enough for the ninth fastest time in Roadrunners' history. The team of Sidney Cumings,

Audrynn Street and Jess Hobson finished sixth overall at the meet.
Maya Ries ran the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 9.08 seconds and finished fourth, while Sowell finished seventh in the 60-meter dash in 7.91 seconds. And Street ran the 800 meters in 2:18.68, which is now the 10
th best Roadrunners mark.
The track and field teams will next compete at the UCCS Invitational next Saturday in Colorado Springs.
