DENVER — MSU Denver Athletics will celebrate one of the most historic achievements in program history this week, as the 2025 NCAA Division II Volleyball National Champions are honored during Victory Week, a campus-wide celebration recognizing the Roadrunners' championship run.
The week begins on Tuesday, January 20, with a National Championship Ceremony at the Auraria Event Center. Fans are encouraged to come early and support MSU Denver men's basketball at 7:30 p.m. MT, as the volleyball team will be recognized at halftime of the game. The ceremony will mark the team's first official return to its home court since capturing the national title and will feature a special championship video, remarks from MSU Denver President Janine Davidson, Director of Athletics Todd Thurman, and Head Coach Jenny Glenn. The event offers Roadrunner fans a chance to celebrate the title team in front of a home crowd and relive the moments that defined a championship season.
Victory Week continues on Thursday, January 22, with a fan-focused celebration centered around the championship hardware. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., fans are invited to the MSU Denver Administration Building (1201 5th St., fourth floor) for Trophy Pictures. Attendees will have the opportunity to take photos with the national championship trophy, meet select members of the title-winning roster, and take home a national championship poster as a keepsake from the historic season.
Victory Week serves as a celebration of the program's first national championship and a chance for the MSU Denver community to connect with the team that brought the title back to the mile high city. Fans, students, alumni, and supporters are encouraged to take part in both events as the Roadrunners honor a season that will forever be remembered in MSU Denver history.
