Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver outdoor track and field team's scheduled event at the Colorado School of Mines Pre-Conference Invitational in Golden, Colo. has been cancelled due to weather.

Officials in Golden cited that the conditions were deemed unsafe for competition after recent weather in the area. This is the fourth event of the spring season that has been cancelled for the Roadrunners due to weather.

MSU Denver will next prepare for the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships in Spearfish, S.D. on May 6-8.
