2016 USTFCCCAĀ All-Academic Honors Full Release
DENVER- The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's and women's track & field teams were named as U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team on Thursday, July 28. Said Moreno (Westminster, Colo./Westminster H.S.) and junior
Sarah Hughes (Broomfield, Colo./Broomfield H.S.) were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team as individuals.
A total of 117 women's teams and 66 men's teams earned the distinction of
USTFCCCA All-AcademicĀ as a result of earning a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher.
To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team as an individual, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have reached a provisional or automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Championships in either indoor or outdoor seasons.
