LEXINGTON, Ky. – After its first league loss in three seasons, the MSU Denver volleyball team dropped just one spot to No. 7 in the AVCA Division II Top 25 poll.
The Roadrunners, 15-4 overall, extended their streak of regular-season Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference victories to 48 before being upset Saturday night at CSU Pueblo.
MSU Denver has been ranked in the national top 10 in 34 consecutive polls dating to early in the 2021 season.
After playing eight of their last nine matches away from home, the Roadrunners are finally back home Thursday against No. 12 Regis at 6 p.m. and Saturday against No. 10 Colorado Mesa at 4 p.m.
The games won't count on the RMAC schedule but are huge for qualifying and seeding for the Division II South Central Regional Tournament.
