DENVER — MSU Denver volleyball continued its historic season with national recognition in the classroom, as Alyssa Boyte and Annika Helf were named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-America Division II Volleyball Teams, announced Tuesday afternoon.
Boyte earned First Team Academic All-America honors after putting together an outstanding sophomore campaign on and off the court. She carries a perfect 4.00 GPA as a psychology major while also playing a key role in the Roadrunners' run to the national championship.
Boyte's selection places her among the top student-athletes in Division II volleyball and highlights her ability to balance elite academic performance with high-level competition.
Helf was named to the Third Team Academic All-America, adding another major honor to her decorated career at MSU Denver. A senior exercise science major with a 3.91 GPA, Helf was a consistent presence for the Roadrunners throughout the season and was instrumental in the program's success during its championship run.
The Academic All-America teams are selected by College Sports Communicators and recognize student-athletes for excellence both academically and athletically. The Division II teams combined for a 3.96 cumulative GPA, with 12 student-athletes posting a perfect 4.00 GPA.
Boyte and Helf's honors further cap a landmark year for MSU Denver volleyball, as the Roadrunners claimed their first national championship in program history and continued to set the standard for success on the court, in the classroom, and in the community.
