LEXINGTON, Ky. – The MSU Denver volleyball team is on top of the AVCA Division II Top 25 volleyball poll for the second consecutive week.
 
The Roadrunners won three matches last week, increasing their winning streak to 13 consecutive matches while improving to 19-1 overall and 10-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
 
MSU Denver received 34 of 47 first-place votes and 1,157 poll points, with Ferris State now ranked second with nine first-place votes and 1,108 poll points.
 
The Roadrunners were ranked No. 1 for the first time ever in 2021 and stayed there for five weeks. They returned to No. 1 for four weeks during the 2022 campaign.
 
MSU Denver has been ranked in the top 10 by the AVCA in 48 consecutive polls dating to early in the 2021 season, as well as in 60 of the last 62.
 
The Roadrunners host Regis and No. 16 Colorado Mesa this week.  On Thursday, the Roadrunners will take on the Rangers at 6 p.m. and on Saturday the team will face the Mavericks at 4 p.m.
 
MSU Denver has won 25 straight matches against unranked teams since losing last year at CSU Pueblo.
