WICHITA FALLS, Texas – After four straight weeks at No. 9, the MSU Denver men's basketball team has moved up to No. 7 in the South Central Region in the Division II Sports Information Directors Association poll.
MSU Denver, 15-7, defeated South Dakota Mines and Black Hills State last weekend and has won four of its last five games.
The D2SIDA region polls aren't affiliated with the official NCAA region rankings which start late in the season and are eventually used to determine at-large qualifiers for the NCAA Tournament.
MSU Denver hits the road for games Friday at 7 p.m. at Westminster and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Colorado Mesa. Mesa is ranked fourth in the region.
