TUCSON, Ariz – The Roadrunners finished 16
th at the WT Desert Invite finishing with a final score of 686. St. Mary's won the event, with host school West Texas A&M finishing second.
MSU Denver scored a 335 on day one and finished in a tie for 12
th place. They would then record a 351 on day two to drop four places.
Izabella Pesicka led the way for the Roadrunners finishing in a tie for 36
th place, recording a +21 for the two-day event. She scored a +10 on day one and a +11 on day two.
Ainsley Stover, who was tied for the team lead with a +9 on day one, would finish second for MSU Denver and 55
th overall scoring a +26 for the tournament.
Mackenzie Carpenter was not far behind Stover, as the senior finished tied for 65
th overall scoring a +9 on day one and a +19 on day two.
Callie Burns finished 85
th overall recording a +35 after two days.
Neige Dunn, who did not compete on Monday, would score a +20 on Tuesday.
The Roadrunners will next compete at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic in Goodyear, Arizona on April 4 and 5.
