PUEBLO, Colo. – The MSU Denver women's 4x400 relay joined
Taylor Engram in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase in setting program records and moving up on the provisional qualifying lists for the NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships on Saturday at the CSU Pueblo Last Chance Meet.
Both broke the program record for the second time in a week.
Engram finished third in the steeplechase in 11 minutes, 6.96 seconds which, once the conversion for altitude is applied, would have ranked her in the top 30 in Division II heading into the weekend.
Meanwhile, the 4x400 of
Allyssa Romero,
Audrynn Street,
Claire Hummel and
Naleia Sowell ran 3:45.17, breaking the mark they had set Sunday by 1.03 seconds. That would have put them in the 20s on the national list, prior to Saturday's results.
